Vintage Stockings also may have a leg length. Typically a size 8.5 will have a leg length of 30" and a size 10 a leg length of 35". However better quality stockings were available in several lengths per foot size. Remember, stockings also go around the leg not just up, so if your legs are fuller than average you can compensate by buying stockings with longer legs.
